Turn Key System
The FiberWatch System is a total fiber monitoring system. You provide the fiber, we provide everything else. If you want to use your own computers for the server and/or clients, that works too. Our client software can easily be used on shared client machines.
Software
The software comes preinstalled on the Remote Test Units (RTU), in addition to a prebuilt server. We always provide all of our software in our media kit, for customers that like to reinstall, reconfigure, or replicate. The RTU runs the Microsoft Windows XP Embedded Operating System, with remote user interface access preinstalled by default. This gives our network administrators a familiar interface to our remote units.
Hardware
The RTU always comes preconfigured with all necessary hardware and default configuration settings. The server hardware with preinstalled server software and Oracle Database is also provided as part of our Turn Key System. Installation CDs are also provided for the server and client software, for customers that prefer to provide and configure their own servers. Alternatively we can build a server to our customer specifications and form factor.
Installation and Training
We love to travel! We have some guys that spend the majority of their life in just about every country, except their own. On site support ready and waiting, or send your best system administrator to us for some indepth training in our lab.
Maintenance
We think our software takes pretty good care of itself, running without network connectivity, rotating logs, etc. We are here to help, please ask a sales representative how we can help you in the maintenance of your fiber network. We offer SLA contracts that include software upgrades and an all-inclusive Hardware Warranty.
